Circulation System as Infrastructure

To define Circulation as an infrastructure we must first identify its function. Circulation, in any system, be it mechanical, architectural or biological, has one primary function. This is to distribute an object from one point to or through a series of other points. These points and there distributive priories dictate the design of the appropriate pathways of the circulatory system. This infrastructure relies on a specific set of mechanical or directional tools to achieve its means. In a factory, that uses automated packaging, the appropriate mechanical devices are placed and or custom built to conform to the pathway laid out in the initial circulatory scheme. These mechanisms facilitate and influence design possibilities, but the pathway remains the priority.

Lambert the sheepish Lion (Lamberto el león acomplejado) es un cortometraje animado producido por el emporio Disney, publicado en el año1951 y dirigido por Jack Hannah basado en la historieta original de Bill Peet. Magistralmente narrado por el inigualable Sterling Holloway, narra en ocho minutos la historia de Lamberto, un león que erróneamente es entregado en un rebaño de ovejas por una cigüeña entrada en tragos. Lamberto vive gran parte de su vida pensando que es una oveja hasta que es obligado a reinvindicarse defendiendo el rebaño del ataque de un lobo feroz.

El cortometraje fue nominado a un Oscar en la categoría de Cortometraje Animado (traducido vía Wikpedia).
