¿Un vaso medio lleno?
Aunque con un lenguaje un tanto incoloro, simplón y con resabios de colonizado, el Señor Collado ofreció recientemente un discurso con el que puedo afirmar que estoy mayormente de acuerdo . ¿Alguien secunda?Puerto Rico: Un vaso ¿medio lleno o medio vacío?
"Vivimos en unos tiempos en los cuales el pesimismo es la orden del día. Sin embargo, yo soy de los que ven el vaso medio lleno y no medio vacío. Me siento optimista por varias razones, pero en este mensaje me voy a concentrar en dos razones: En el siglo XXI el elemento más importante para un país es el recurso humano. Y Puerto Rico no tiene paralelos en cuanto a la calidad, diversidad y profundidad de este recurso. Impression Lijiang

Someday♫
Anoche presentaron en el noticiero a tres oficinistas que el lunes perdieron su empleo luego de que alegadamente sus cuentas de correo electrónico personal comenzaran a "enviar espontáneamente" forwards de todo a su familia, amistades y compañeros de trabajo.
Según dos entrevistados, le habían tirado fango hasta a sus madres. Las autoridades sospechan que hay juego sucio porque gran parte de los correos electrónicos que circularon durante la tarde de ayer, según las alegadas víctimas, habían sido borrados por ellos en algunos casos ¡hace más de cinco años!

Kanyon, Levent - Nuevo Centro de Todo en Instanbul
Kanyon, located at the heart of Levent, will consist of 179 apartments, a 26-story office block and 37,500 square meters of retail space. A joint venture partnership between Eczacibasi and Is Bank, the ultimate goal of Kanyon is to be a place where people actually want to spend time. "It's not a place to run in and buy a pair of shoes, some toilet paper and a banana," says Lehto. Rather, visitors to Kanyon should feel like they are "on holiday."

“ Verde que te quiero verde’ es una pieza colaborativa, un ritual escapatorio dentro de una piscina olímpica en el monte Bibi Mahro donde, por medio de un velo verde, creamos un nuevo volumen, una nueva dimensión”, explica Berríos Negrón. “Lo de tirarnos en la piscina con el velo fue lo primero, y lo principal... Luego, hicimos una procesión al ‘billboard’ en lo alto del monte y ahí instalamos el velo, hecho de acetato de poliéster por un sastre del mercado de Kabul”, explica Berríos Negrón. Massoud Hosseini captó las imágenes del evento en fotos, mientras Berríos Negrón y Caleb Schaber hicieron lo propio en vídeo. El vídeo es la “evidencia final” de la pieza, filmada y dirigida por Berríos Negrón y producida por el profesor Omarzad.

As part of the Summer Director's Lab being held at CSC, recent graduate from Columbia University's MFA Directing Program, Javierantonio González, together with a group of performance artists, envisions Molière's Don Juan for the contemporary stage. González and company create a lyrical world from which Molière's timely and seductive story of religious hypocrisy, gender relations, and deception, is given new force.
Where? CSC (136 East 13th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues)
When? July 8th and 9th at 8pm
Why? Because CSC has empty space over the summer and is giving it over to young companies to do in-house workshops/rehearsals.
With- Sylvia Bofill, James Ryan Caldwell, Kate LoConti, Billy
Fenderson, Ricardo Hinoa, Tania Molina and Stephanie Shipp

Dramaturgy- Lucia Scheckner
